Are you asking a question?
"Poormans R" use Type r pistons in a GSR block. You simply just have a low compression JDM GSR at this point.

Yea you will be fine, Tuner 1 are about the same as CTR cams, I made 200 WHP on those cams on a very mild ITR engine. They felt good with good low and mid.

But if your going to turbo id look into just using a cam that would work better with that like even maybe oem gsr cams i hear they work well on turbo applications.

No need for them there a waist imo when OEM valves work just fine unless you go flat face for a bump in comp.

ITR/CTR cams work well in turbo apps as well. The Tuner 1's wouldn't hurt. Little bit hotter VTEC will get that power band up quick under boost.

Yea i agree they would work quite well but my point or what i meant was maybe if he diddnt purchase the cams yet he could save some $ and find oem gsr cams cause there very cheap and he could save some $ towards another mod. I mean i payed i think around $600 for my Tuner 1's and sold them for i think half that. I seen GSR cams for as little as $50.

OP could also keep tuner 1 intake and use type r or gsr exhaust cam.

if im not mistaken thats a good combo for a JRSC setup, i had something similar, I had 2001 spec ITR intake and GSR ex. when i had my JRSC setup a few years ago.

Turbo setup just stick with both GSR cams, harder to sell just one cam down the road.
