I'll update this with more details/pictures hopefully this weekend. For people that only read the first few lines of a for sale ad, if you are looking for a numbers matching, single owner, 97 ITR unicorn then this car isn't for you.

If you are looking for a 97 ITR that has a NON-SALVAGE title, and has been basically restored with as many new OEM parts, as well as a mix of performance related parts then this car might be for you.

Asking price for the car is 16k OBO. The car is located in the Northern Virginia area (20 minutes outside of DC).

 No engine torque mounts installed – I have most of the pieces, just wanted to powder coat them

2000 BLACK ITR SHELL (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) - $4500 USD

*Had this project car back in 2006 and been sitting since. Finally got the time to get it going but changed my mind.

*This is a rare color in Canada as Canada never had Black ITRs. I believe its the only Black ITR in Canada right now (I am not aware of any other ones)

*This car was originally from Florida (Theft Recovery) missing motor/seats/suspension/bumpers/lights with a (Junk/Irrepairable Title). It was imported into Ontario, Canada and now has a clean title (Canadian Ownership)

*The mileage is unknown, but its very cleans with no rust at all. Has a few dings and dents but no damage anywhere.

*JDM HID Front end complete (Headlights/bumper/Grill not shown in pic)

I need opinions on a fair price to ask for a fully restored, 3 owner, clean title, k20a integra type r. If youve never paid for any parts on my list then you probably shouldnt give an opinion. No bullshit on this car.
First off many of you may not be interested in an altered car. This car has been altered and the color is closer to navy/purple than the original flamenco black.

Engine: 08 k20a from an accord euro r. The motor is stock to my knowledge but miraculously made 256whp. I have the video and dyno sheet available.*
Its got a hondata intake gasket. A custom short ram intake, an asp 4-1 header for the k20a connected to a v banded hytech twin loop exhaust. Its still got ac and power steering. Its an older version 2 kpro.

Transmission: is the accord euro r as well. Its got lsd, carbon synchros, and all new sleeves and gear selectors. I used a 5 speed ep3 first and second gear with the euro r/type r 3-4-5 gears and tsx 6th with a 5.06 final drive. The clutch is an exedy stage one street disc and pressure plate. Nice setup in my opinion.

Suspension: full hardrace master kit. Every bushing has been replaced. Its also got hardrace front upper control arms and rear camber kits. The rear sway is an asr 24mm. Coilovers are tein type flex with the edfc. Brakes are ebc pads and rotors with Goodridge stainless brake lines. Its also got spoon rigid colars in the subframe and a full race traction bar. It can come with advan rg1s or the jdm 16s.

Body: Real 2000 type r with a clean title and 87,000 original miles. I put a jdm front, oem optional side skirts and rear valances and jdm rain guards.... and changed the color to a custom very dark blue/purple that looks black unless you look hard.

Interior: I have 2 interior setups. The first is the jdm theme with the jdm momo steering wheel wrapped in red suede along with the jdm red recaros and VERY RARE Canadian type r red rear seats. I also have another FULL set of the Canadian red seats front and rear (extra $1000) with the usdm steering wheel and custom door panels with the dry carbon inserts to match the dash vents, cluster, etc. The cluster is a ukdm 160mph type r with the mileage set to match my shell. Mugen rear view mirror, and Its got navigation and everything works as it should.

I selling the car as it sits with one set of wheels and the jdm/cdm set of interior. For any more info text me at 8455978926. The only trades im interested in are an nsx or r32 gtr plus cash on my end if its worth it

I've been following the for sale trend of ITR's for a couple of years now, so take my opinion for what it's worth. Typically, people don't post what the cars actually sell for so it's hard to gauge actual selling prices. You can sift through some closed eBay transactions for comps, but I typically find that eBay is either very underpriced or inflated, typically to cover eBay costs. Forums are a little better representation for the R market in my opinion, because most R owners visit this forum or ITRCA and this is where the market is.

People trying to buy ITR's are now buying them either for dedicated track use or collector/occasional drivers. Theres few in-between that are fetching decent $$. Unfortunately, I don't view this car as more than a DC2 with Recaro interior, off-color paint, and a K engine swap. Parts thrown together on a repainted R chassis, if you will. Your market for this package is either someone wanting to strip the car, sell the interior, suspension, and wheels and turn it into a track car or a kid who wants an Integra with a K motor and Recaro interior. -and can tell his friends that the car was born as an ITR but now has a custom paint job. The F&F fad died about 10 years ago.

I've watched a few other ads where the prices were dropped to a desperate $9k, bottom dollar on clean titled caR's, and sold.

For basis of thought, the general census on what mid-$20k will fetch is a museum quality ITR, ITR Expo Forums: Some Help on Pricing 2000TR in SoCal with 26K miles.

I think it would be difficult to fetch more than about $9k as it sits, being realistic. If it were an ITR color respray with badging and super clean, I don't think it would be difficult to pull $13k-ish, realistic.
So all of that said, I am sure you won't like my thought as I found yours on ITRCA for $16.5. For what it's worth, you did ask for opinions.

Car was stolen this past November and stripped of all Type R specific parts.

Looks like it will need a new front radiator support as it was cut off. The car had a JDM front installed, so I'm sure the thieves just cut it off.

5-lug hubs were removed and swapped for 4-lug (probably just to allow it to roll).

Paint was covered with gray spray paint, but a new paint job was needed anyway (orange peel nearly everywhere).

A couple of small dents on the body, but should be easy to fix. Never bothered me while I owned it.
