I have a new civic 2015, and I am trying to figure the Navegation system out.. Why the Navegation system makes me go through routes that are neither the fastest or the shortest? Just to go to my house from work (5 miles) it made me go through several neighborhoods, when the Main Street was close by and would have been the shortest and the fastest. Should I turn traffic update off? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

 

Probably routing through traffic stops or high traffic flow. If you know the route, don't use your navigation centre.
