anyone know where to buy these it appears that Honda has discontinued them.

You could probably pick up a used transmission for the forks, or just install a whole "new" used transmission.

 

Thanks we were looking for an option to buy new forks. this is a race car and it has a special limited slip as well as diff gear which is 4.73. It takes a beating maybe not what some of you guys do in your drag racing, but I can't do the straight gears option and change it all out. All I can do is play with the gear ratios by subsituting 2nd 3rd and 4th gears as they do seem to vary. What I don't know and would like to know is are the L3 shift forks dimensionally identical to later tranny shift forks, In other words is there any interchangability. They may change the part numbers but the parts are still the same? Do we have any of that here or are the shift forks in the L3 from 88-91 in CRX and some Civics the only place to find these? Anyone know before I go call Honda and try and work my way to someone in engineering who might be able to answer that.

Simple, go to oem honda parts web site and look at the part numbers for the years you are wondering about. Here is a good one.

Thanks I will try these guys it says the part is replaced by and has a price. I ordered from Son's Honda and they said discontinued so I just ordered these and I will see what comes back.

 

OK thanks, but they declined my order part has been discontinued and they have no ETA on a backorder. So here is the question now that Honda will not support these parts any longer do later trannies use the same shift forks and if so what ones and is there any aftermarket on these.
