some weeks ago I got my ITBs, which are made of CBR 9** throttle bodies.
2 days ago I installed them on my B16A2 which was rebuilt before. Here is the
spec list :

B16A2 bottom
B16A2 head
B16A2 cams
4-1 OBX-R headers
ITBs (from Honda CBR 9***)
Skunk2 LMAs
Stock TPS
Stock Map Sensor
no IACV

So it's like 99% stock.


The previous owner of my ITBs used them on a B16A1. He gave me also
the EEPROM with the Map for the ITBs. I got them with injectors, but don't
even know how big they are. Also the previous owner doesn't. But it was on a
dyno and he had 220HP and 190Nm. I installed the EEPROm (my ECU is also
chipped) and started the car. It sounds funny, but I don't think it's good. My
AFR is about 10.0 (the UEGO can't show richer but I think it is). The engine
smokes as hell like you can see in the video. Do you think it's because it gets
too much fuel ?

What spark plugs are you using?
Have you checked your spark plugs to make sure they're not fouled out?

 

NGK BKR6E-11. I'll buy new ones to be sure

 

WAAAAAAAY to much fuel. Probably by 20% minimum.

 

Yesterday I got the Moates Ostrich. Maybe I take a look for it today.

 

Check to make sure your IAT is working properly as well. That can cause over fueling issues. I had that problem once before.

 

I've found the Problem. The TPS is damaged. It's always at 100%.

 

Is it damaged or is it wired incorrectly?

 

Engine is running fine now It was wired correctly, but damaged. I took a OEM and everything is fine now but thanks
