Hi I have a 98 b18c1 and recently I've been having a issue with it. Cold start it runs fine and is able to Rev to the moon, once the engine is at optimum temperature it throws a cell and won't Rev past 4k at 100% throttle? Sometimes I can baby it past 4k but usually it bogs out when it hits 4k. This problem just starter happening, before I could Rev it to redline even with the cel.

Any type of feed back would be greatly appreciated, thanks again for everyone's time and input. -Dru

 

Pull the code and post it. You don't need a scanner but for more detailed code a scanner helps. Check the FAQ for how to pull it.

 

Thank you, I'll pull it once I have some time. Hopefully it's nothing catastrophic. I can't really afford to rebuild the engine at this time and moment.
