ecu to engine e harness questions.
I have a 1994 civic cx that I just swapped a 1994 b18c1 into. Im using the gsr engine harness and ecu. But im getting check engine codes 23 and 41 for the knock sensor and for the o2 sensor heater. Is this because the civics harness is not wired for this? And is the harness that goes from the engine harness connectors to the ecu the same harness that goes through out the whole dash? I have access to the whole gsr wiring harness but will it fit the civic? The previous owner butchered the civic harness so I would really like to change that out, but if I have to take the whole dash out I will have to rethink swapping it out.
Thanks for any help.

For VTEC wiring see above pic. For knock sensor and IAB wiring (see figure 1) (if using the chipped P28 you won’t need to wire IAB or knock sensor). If your CX model is NOT 4 wire you will need to wire up the 3 additional O2 connections below to the ECU (figure 1). All other wiring is plug and play.

All you need to do is locate the wires ran to the o2 and the knock sensor and confirm they are not loose, check continuity back to the ecu to ensure you have a connection. Thats it. If you want to replace the the engine harness than swap an obd1 gsr in there.
