Mess with your wiring lately?

Front or rear or both?

Sorry I was in such a hurry at work. It turned out to be my right side reverse light. Had to unplug it. Haven't messed with my wiring. All I did was switch my taillights two weeks ago.

You likely have two problems --> The reverse lights switch is stuck on and the left reverse light bulb is burned out.

Your first post doesn't not mention whether you have an auto or manual transmission.

Default Trunk brake lights?

Hey I have bought a set of red/clear Jdm taillights and there is a hole in the trunk section of the lights for another set of brake lights. The problem is there is no harness. I was thinking about buying the plugs and wiring to the corner brakes. Problem with that is, well you know. How do I get my trunk brake lights wired up? Piggyback off the 3rd brake light? 98 Civic EX Coupe 5 spd. Thanks.

There suppose to be a trunk harness, you're missing it.

I went to the wrecking yard and found two 98 Honda Civics and neither of them had the trunk harness there has to be another way. Besides it looks completely stock nothing has been ripped out. I don't think there is a trunk harness. At least not one with the two plugs. Maybe it just for 99-00s.

So are you saying you have no reverse lights at all?

I have reverse lights, just not the plugs for the trunk tail lights. I guess I can buy two plugs and run some wire and splice into the corner lights.

Make sure you don't have the switch too tight in the tranny. Replaced mine thinking it was bad, overtightened, ran around all ******' day with the reverse lights on lol.

I picked up the plugs at the junkyard. Now I just need to know what gauge the brake light wire is.

Default Cluster short when I switch on running lights

I just replaced one of my glow gauge faces and put it back together and when I tried to put the cluster back into the car I accidentally cut the wire to the fuel gauge face. I unplugged the wire, turn my running lights on and all of a sudden my blinker lights are on, not flashing (speedometer moves up and down to the rhythm of the blinkers when blinkers are on. bright light is on, dimmed, my fuel gauge level is all the way up, and my rpm/speedometer are dancing around like crazy bouncing up and down. I have no idea what's causing it any help would be appreciated thanks guys.

Nevermind I fixed it. I just decided to rip the glow gauges out. No more short. I decided to go with a 00 EM1 cluster. Picking one up tomorrow. Sorry to waste a thread.

I bought the plugs and wire and some wire loom and zip ties. I'm almost done wiring. I will post a pic when I'm done. I have a good feeling it's going to work. If it does I'm buying 4 leds tonight.

Upload the picture to imgur.com. It'll give you the BBCode, just copy and paste that here.
