Transmission shifts hard
I have an all stock 2000 honda accord with 204k miles has the f23a1 and i keep throwing a cel for transmission range sensor (the car shifts super hard from 1st-2nd) it is an automatic, I changed the fluid it helped a little then 1k miles later threw the same transmission range sensor cel. I don't know what this is any help is appreciated.
You need to post the trouble code to start off. A transmission range sensor problem is usually caused by damaged to the sensor itself, the connector to it, or if it was not adjusted correctly (adjusting the cable from the inside will throw off the range sensor if you perform the adjustment carelessly).
Most transmissions will shift hard after a DTC is triggered to prevent damage to the unit itself. Most Accords of this year range (98-02) suffer from premature 2nd gear wear, 4 cylinder or V6. A hard, erratic, or "bumpy" 2nd gear can be pinned on the 2nd gear clutch, requiring a rebuild to correct.
Always diagnose the DTC first.

I got the car and it had this hard shifting issue I cleared the cel and did a fluid change now the light doesn't seem to want to come, back on I don't remember the code exactly
Oil pump blockage or clutches are worn out, or both. Very common problem.
You can be deluded like many others and "Clean the screens" or "change the fluid". These are never the problem, and not at the mileage you provided.
You need a rebuild, plain and simple. Deny this reality, and you impose more expense on your end. Source: I have rebuilt close to 50 of these units. Don't take my work for it though, go ahead and clean the screens, change the oil, put the wrong oil in it, until the only option you have left is the truth itself, a worn out transmission that needs refreshing.
