New to the forum, so excuse any issues with my post...
I have a 1997 Honda Accord Value Package with a 4cyl 2.2 engine and automatic trans. The speedometer has quit working or works intermittently and the transmission shifts erratically.
Pretty sure it is a VSS, but apparently I have an odd-ball model since all the threads and videos show a VSS that is ~$10 (mine has the ~$100 part).
My problem is this, apparently my car has 2 speed sensors (input and output). How do I know which one is the one that needs to be replaced. I am including links below to the two speed sensors that match what I have...

I should also mention I get a P0501 error code
There is the same VSS on your car that is mentioned in "all the threads and video's" - go look at your trans where they say it is and it will be there.
Well what do yo know, after much wasted work, I did find the VSS. It is just in a different place on my Accord than shown in the videos and threads I found.
DId replace it and cleared the CEL codes and all is well! Thanks for the replies!
