Default No cylinder compression.

I have a 01 integra with a b18b and I was told that cylinder 1 was leaking compression and was at 115 and cylinder 2 was at 118 and the rest were fine. They said it won't start up do to not enough compression to build up to start it. Now I was wondering if I can do anything to start it or is there any like oil seals to fix this. Tired of fixing this car all my money basically went to this car and don't feel like getting a new motor. If there's any fix I can do without ripping the motor apart would be very helpful. If there isn't than I guess I have to look into a new motor witch I don't wanna do just because I've spent enough.
Note: timing is on point basically why I took it to the shop and also not having time to work on it my self.

Man i remember all the crap you had going on with this engine sorry to hear.

I think the engine should still run even with low compression in a cylinder or two. I have had a hole literally in one valve after the valve burnt on the dyno from a inexperienced tuner and it still drove home. I also once had broken ring lands in the piston and ran like poop as far as power from the compression loss but it still started up and ran.

Which brings me to a temp band aid you can try that worked for me when i had busted my rings, The engine at idle smoked really bad out the valve cover vent. What i did was poured a can of engine restore 4 cyl formula you can find it even at wallmart. After flushing the oil and pouring the can with fresh oil on top the engine ran much better! there was power restored as well as the smoking out the vc was greatly reduced. Before i wouldnt be able to climb the hill by my house and after the can it had power to get up allot easier than before. I also recently used this on my civic that has been consuming oil and will keep an eye on the oil consumption but it feels a bit better driving already. So i know from experience the stuff works depending how bad the engine is.

Figure out why it wont start and run first.

It could even have low comp #'s from the valve lash being off spec.

I really appreciate the info. And yeah this car started having every problem this last year. So much money dumped into it and then everything started going wrong. Would sell it but would never get the amount put in. And I'll take your advice and try this stuff out.

Exactly it should start, usually shops will give you the run around cause either they can't figure out the issue or they don't want to fix it because its probably a cheap fix and they would rather say its something else like "no compression" instead of admitting it was something like a bad starter ect. and try to get more money out you because they know you don't know much about cars like the masses of people in the world so they prey on people like you they see you a mile away its how most all Mechanic shops work its the name of the game.

Whats the symptoms when cranking the engine? does the fuel pump prime?

Does the engine crank?

Any check engine codes stored in the ecu?

I mean I basically built the car my self. Took it in just because I really needed to move it out of my drive way and had no were to actually work on it or park it. So I went to the shop to basically re tap the timing tensioner bolt cause it wasn't holding the belt and to do a valve adjustment and a few tweaks here and there. The car wasn't starting before and also I'm not even gonna try to start a car when I know the timings gonna jump. But after all this the motor should have started and it's basically sounds like it's has no compression at all. I did fuel, spark, electrical test to make sure everything is dead on and nope still just winning when turning the key. I took it to a tuner shop that's known to be the best in ny. Normally I would never take it to a shop but no room or anywhere to park it I had no choice. One of my buddy's told me to poor ATF fluid in and let it sit for a few days and when I go to start it it might build enough compression. Normally I would say forget it and buy a new motor but wanna at least see if there's any saving left to do out of this motor

If im not mistaken the head was removed for a valve job from a bent valve correct.

During this process did you inspect the pistons for cracked rings, its possible you hurt the rings it happened to me went i bent my valves from the belt slipping.

Well since you say it was at a repudable shop im sure they went through the proccess of elimanation and have concluded its due to no compression. What was the compression results in each cylinder and any leak down results?
