So it's just the illumination lights so you can view the guages at night that aren't working?

Yeah like the gas gauge, temperate gauge, speedometer, and tacometer won't light up whenever I turn on my headlights.

take her easy, there cocky face. you're the one who fucked up a simple radio install, not us. missing information, NOT found in your thumbnail sized video:

1- did you RE check the fuse after you replaced it? (odds are it blew again)
2- did you use a wire harness adapter or hack up the factory harness?
3- did you solder/shrink your wires or twist and tape?

all of these will help get you your answer. if you DID hack the harness, post pics of your connections.

hey no need for that comment lol

Yes i checked the fuse after I installed a new one. it wasn't blown.
I bought a wire harness from Walmart and wired it together. could the radio be wired wrong??? used butt connectors to wire the radio.

I'm wondering if red and yellow wire were wired together?
Are they suppose to be red to red and yellow to yellow or red/yellow to red/yellow?

Unplug the dimmer switch and short the red wire (not red/black wire) to the black wire in the dimmer switch connector. Do the cluster lights now work? If not, use a multimeter to test whether the red/black wire has battery voltage with lights turned on and whether the black wire has continuity to body ground.
