I know most users probably cringe at the site of stance, but just looking for some technical help.
Ground Control/ koni yellows is what i have.
Im going to be pretty low. I have a old pic for reference. i went into build over the past year i want to do everything right, I'm gonna be running that setup with extended 24-25mm top hats all the way around, what would be a recommend spring rate from eibach to get for this low of an application, will the shocks need re-valving? i had them on full stiff, when i last drove, it was obviously very bumpy, but I'm almost certain it was due to bottoming out on bump stops. not worried about bottoming out in wheel wells, just over all stiffness in ride cause ill have a charge speed lip that will be almost touching the ground and don't need it cracking.

it will be rarely driven, its a full wire tuck, and show bay, using a custom header that goes to a hood exit pipe so i wouldn't be hitting it under my car, when i was this low i never even hit the oil pan so I'm not worried about it.

 

Why not just run an airbag setup, and not worry about horrible ride characteristics just for the dream of being low?

Then explain why nearly every commercial truck has it. If you build an airbag setup properly, its as reliable as any other suspension setup out there.

You said you're looking to make a show car. Show cars cost money, or at least good quality ones do.

You have that backwards. "Static" is for the kids out there that either can't afford a proper suspension, or really have no respect for the vehicle they're building and just want "scene points".

 

Who justifies spending 2-3k+ on a quality bag setup with management just to have to have the valves in the struts cleaned/replaced every season w/ electrical issues, when i can do a personal setup set for my application and it be truly mechanical to last and compensate for each other, and also I've seen bagged ek's and eg's before, its not the same, they wasted a bunch of money to go to something that couldn't get them as low as a static setup with specific specs, so they decide to put 15's on just to get an extra inch. and if i had no respect for my build i wouldn't be asking these questions, just looking for a suggested spring rate for my application.

Being that low you're never going to have any kind of ride quality no matter what you do. You just have to deal with it. Personally I dig mini truck guys more, they don't bitch about their vehicle after they intentionally modified it and knew the consequences. This thread is pointless.

 

Every static car I've seen that sits extremely low eventually looks like garbage. They all end up ruining their car at some point.
