DC5 JDM Type R - ever come with black door cards?
Hope this is the appropriate forum - couldn't see anything for Honda badged Integras.
I recently picked up a JDM imported DC5 in New Zealand - Checked the history and through the whole vehicle and everything is correct, but the door cards have a black lining instead of the usual red. Did any cars come with mismatched panels like this or is it more likely they were replaced with black ones while in Japan?
Given that the rest of the car including the drivetrain is all original DC5 Type R parts, I'm not concerned with it being a hack job, but it seems strange as I haven't seen this on any other models; I am fairly certain a black interior option was available in the JDM models as well.

JDM-DC5-2001.pdf - Page 21 shows the black trim.
