Check engine is on and "D" blinks on my wife's 2010 Pilot. The problem is intermittent. It happens, stays for couple of days and then goes away just to appear again after several days. It seemed to go away after I retightened a fuel cap. Could it be related or just a co-incidence? I checked the error code. It is P0847 - 3rd Clutch Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch. If it is not a fuel cap, the next logical step, I think, would be replacing the switch. Hence is another question. There are three oil pressure switches on the part diagram: two of the same model (11) and one different (12). Which one is the 3rd Clutch Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch? Reading replacement instructions in Service Manual, I guess it is a bottom one (12). Can you please confirm if this is correct?
I did check the level. It was normal. After tightening the fuel cap again, check engine does not light up any more. Strange. I still don't know if it was a coincidence or this code is somehow related to the leaking fuel cap.
