Default 2006 civic dead battery

My neighbor has a 2006 civic, with a dead battery. I jump started the civic and pulled the battery cables off, so I can assume the alternator is good. His driver side lock cylinder is not working so he has to unlock his door using the keyless remote. Can this be the cause of the battery being drained?
He just got a new battery 10 days ago. Some electrical is not shutting off.
Any Ideas or positive feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks

How are you sure the alternator is good?

Also if the driver's door isn;t unlocking automatically it could be the actuator is done... might need to change that.
