I bought a aluminum bosal exhaust system couple years ago now the mid/b pipe is leaking right at the hanger welds..

I m prob going to replace the exhaust system.

Any recommendations on what to replace it with?

I saw ebay had some 100$ stainless steel catbacks, any reccomendations on these? Are you sure these would direct bolt to 4 dr dx?

If u dont recommend ebay stainless steel exhaust, what would u recommend? my Bosal only lasted 3 years..

Also any recommendations on a quailty catalytic converter, bought a **** one a few years ago and now its hardly passing admissions. I do blame this on the cat itself cause right when i swapped out the oem cat, due to physical dmg, my admissions levels went up ten fold.

any help would be great. In worst case i ll spend another 60$ on **** bosal B pipe and get another 3 years out of it.. maybe spray pain the welded areas so it lasts longer with a paint like this:

I imagine if the welded areas are painted with high temp paint like that the pipe would last much longer..

 

ebay exhausts are a maybe 3 year fix as well. coupe/sedan are the same. why not just go to your local muffler shop and have them make something up?

 

This. Find a local exhaust shop, and have them fix it.

 

just repair the one you have. Hope you coat your undercarriage with something to prevent rust, or slow it down.
