Default Did Nissan Run in WC this year?

Is this car for this year's or next year's race? Looks pretty nice.

I always thought the SE-R would look much better if it lost the monster truck stance. Nice.

Speaking of SVWC, do they post hp/trq figures for the various vehicles?

From what I read in other forum, this car has 258 hp and 221 ft-lb of torque. But I can't find it on the "nissannews.com" site.

good luck getting "accurate" numbers like that out of anyone. when we ran the series, our engine builder wouldn't even give US the numbers.

That Sentra wasn't at VIR and I haven't seen it on any of the Speed broadcasts, so it's probaly for next years season. And in case you guys didn't know, There's going to be some PPG backed BMW's in next years GT class ...

Wai,

A couple of weeks ago the driver of that car (or someone from his team/camp) posted that he was testing and he was hoping to have the car for the last few races or something like that.

Hermes and the Sentra were entered in the Laguna Seca race but he didn't have any times so I guess mechanical problems prevented him from entering the car. If he keeps working on it and testing he should have the bugs worked out by next season.

I am sure you mean PTG BMW. I don't remember where I read it but Tom Milner's Prototype Technology Group will run two SMG equipped E46 M3s in GT next year. Bill Aubelen and Boris Said will be driving.
