Too bad these dont work w/ manual trannys....good system if you have an auto though

it does work with a manual

very easy to to, u just bypass the clutch switch

 

of course you can do that, but its fooling the system. Thats why I got the compustar, its made to use for 5 speeds

 

not fooling the system, just making it so u don't need to push the clutch down, either way u can't start the car without either the keypad or a key.

 

you have no safety precautions that way.

 

u can also have it hooked to the e-brake this way u have some safety

thats is true. I mean, dont get me wrong, of course you can get it to work, but they wont warranty the product nor guarantee it. After my bad experiences with theives, i want the best alarm made for my specific set up.

Do you have actually pics of the alarm? Is the wires all cut up? Nothing missing?

 

i didn't take pics before i closed the box back up
everything is included down to the warranty cards

all wires are brand new,
the 5 of the 6 remote start wires have been twisted so i couldn make sure that the alarm worked.

it's sealed in the box and ready to be shipped

shouldn't be too much. i can do it myself and have done a few installs already

if you are finaliar with wiring it won't be hard. i'll give u wiring diagrams if needed for any car

Best setup? And you have a compustat? ROLF. Takes 30 seconds to disable that POS. Why won't they warraty the setup? some places might not do the remote start install on a manual, doesn't have anything to do with the product being warrantied. DEI BEST STUFF, not GOOD.

 

it only comes with 1 remote which is the way DEI sells it

 

most places won't install the remote start part of the alarm on a manual tranny, which has no effect on the warranty cause the alarm itself still works
