These all fit a B16, PLM will fit the B18 and B16. Not sure if the DC header will fit the B18.

The PLM headers are made for B18, so yes even raising the ride height, it would still have an issue as the deck clearance is higher than a B16.

 

Doesn't really matter since it's your car and you're free to do what you want with it. Probably was a combination of being slammed, worn bushings, and So. Cal streets. But if I had issues with 2 previous headers, I would've looked into finding a solution before throwing on another.
