Please Clarify! 96'-00' Civic related
English isnt my first language, Im 100% positive that there's a thread out there with the information that I need, just dont know how to phrase it correctly haha. Basically what I want to know is... I'm in the process of buying a 6th gen hatchback. And ive been noticing that most 99'-00' civic models have the newer front end, the bigger grill, different front bumper, etc... But like in what models are these newer front ends found? I saw a 1998 Civic on sale with this newer front end?
Could someone please clarify, are these front ends just found on 1999-2000 models, or also on specific 1996-1998 models?
Thanks

The front end update is only on 99-00 from the factory. If you see a 96-98 with the new front end, that's because the owner has changed the hood, fenders, bumper, and head lights.
US market is different from the JP market, the 99-00 frontend in the US was actually used for the older models below 99-00 in JP. You'll need to specify your location and where you are looking.
