Hey guys trying to figure how much it would cost ballpark to rebuild a 02 manual transmission at a decent shop. Would do it myself but between school and work got no time. Some background, i've replaced the clutch master cylinder and slave but the tranny still engages pretty harsh from 1st to 2nd gear the car has 179k on it. So how much do you guys think roughly it would be to do a rebuild replacing some synchros and maybe a gear or two with parts and labor?

$1500-2000. You can save $500 or so if you pull it yourself and take it to them.

 

For $2000 I would take apart and repair a space ship.
One synchro ring probably needs to be replaced.
When did you change transmission oil last time?

Took to a honda tech they bled the master cylinder, said it had air in the line so i'm gonna drive it till it dives, but thanks guys
