I just got a 91 integra shell and it has the ALB system on it. If I switch it out with an ecu that didn't have it previously would that make it not function, and if I want to remove it do I have to use a non ALB brake booster or just leave it that same after removing the ALB system? Lastly is ALB different from ABS? I've seen some say ABS and other ALB. Just need to clarify before i start working on anything.

 

The ABS is completely separate from the engine/ECU. So yes, you can change the ECU without affecting the ABS.
