Hello everyone,

I just installed an AEM cold air intake on my 94 Accord EX coupe. I think I installed the device properly, however I would like some confirmation. There is an extra hose that was attached to the factory air intake and I have no place for it on the new intake.

I attached one of the hose to small pipe on the intake but I'm not sure if this is correct. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that I'm a newbie and I have very little experience working with cars. Please see the attached pictures.





This is the hose that I did not connect. I used a screw to cover it. Is this going to be a problem?

 

That is a vent line.
There should have been a filter(a wad of foam) that you roll up and stick into that pipe. Do not seal it off.

Can someone please give me a better understanding on what to do in this situation. I’ve been trying to get a cold air intake for my 94 accord ex and I noticed it had an extra tube also. What should I do???
