Default 2008 Pilot odd stuff

This is just a quick question to see if I need to do more digging on the subject.
I searched the forum and haven't found this exact issue.
I replaced my wife's Pilot's Running lights with LED replacements by Sylvania.
They worked fine for a day or so, then the Running lights and tail lights are now dead. is there an issue with mismatching the bulbs that causes a higher current draw which would blow a fuse (haven't checked yet) or what?
Any experience with problems changing out to LED's anyone knows about, please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

MJB

No blown fuses under the dash or in the engine bay fuse block.
Headlights and brake lights work, no taillights or running lights.
Dash cluster lights work.
Relay?
Both relays test ok on the coil, and are open on the switch side.

Relays are good.
What else am I missing?
The headlights and brake lights work...

It's obvious I'm alone...
I've taken to drinking my own urine and catching small creatures for sustenance.
I found the rear parking lights were burnt out. I replacced them with LEDs also... probably not wise at this point.
In any case, still no go.

I know you said they worked fine but some LED bulbs are polarity specific. Try flipping them.

Oh ALSO you can make a solar still to collect clean water from your urine instead of drinking it straight. Tastes much better.

Will have to try in the daylight hours, I'm saving my strength at night and gathering what the raccoons bring me. I am their master!

Reverted back to bulbs, something is cooked. No parking lights front or rear.
I've checked what are listed as the relevant fuses, yet no bueno.
Por Que?!
Anyone have a wiring diagram of the Driving/parking light circuit?

Bit the bullet and subscribed to alldata, found coupon code : HYBRIDREPAIR for 6 months, but they offered 21 bucks for 3 years, so I opted for that.
There is another fuse panel on the pass side, "small Light" fuse was out.
I knew there had to be another circuit breaker in the path.

Good job!

I have a 2006 Pilot and a 2008 Ridgeline. I had either forgotten or not known that the Pilot has a 4th fuse box on the passenger interior side that you just found. The RL only has 3 fuse boxes, 2 under the hood and 1 interior.

There is a fuse puller in the primary underhood fuse box.

From my 2006 OM. I'm guessing the 2008 is the same.

Very similar to what mine is, on the primary underhood , don't know about the 2nd underhood block. the layouts are the same on at least 3 of them.
Wish i'd seen this sooner.

Sorry. I was under the impression you checked all the fuses right off the bat.

Glad to see you survived. You have some hard core survival routines!

That was the one panel I was not aware of, but we got through it.
You have to be on top of your survival game when the wife won't let you in the house 'til her truck is fixed.

I have some raccoon jerky curing right now if anyone is interested. They stopped bringing me supplies, so...
