Default b20b 185whp non v

so i seen lots of post with guys semi building the b20s over the yr and only hitting 160whp so here a build that with a better intake would of broke 200 non vtec.

b20b block 84mm super tech 3cc dome pistons arp stock rods ported p75 head double springs bc404 proseries intake 68mm tb 3" cold air 3" blox v stack 4-2-1 try y plm header 2.5"" exhaust arp head studs tuned my redzone on 91 pump gas on a conservative tune on a 90 degree day. made 185/142 reved to 7700.

Nice numbers... imagine what you could have done with a P8R cylinder head. What type of dyno did you use ??? Can you post a dyno graph please ???

I dunno if the victor x would help. It might hurt since the efficiency range of that intake is above the power band est suited for a big bore non vtec.

Have you played with cam timing at all?

I posted this in the non-vtec thread. Here's mine.

Stock bottom end
Stock P75 Head (no porting)
Crower 403
Crower Dual Valve Springs/Retainers
Stock P75 Intake Manifold, port matched to throttle body
68mm Professional Products throttle body
RSR header (2.5" collector)
2" exhaust

The plot shows the initial tune and after tuning. Mostly air/fuel, didn't play with timing much.

the plenum of the pro series is to small for a b20. once we made that power we where happy. timing was left at 20 degrees so tune was very conserative.
