Ok guys sorry if I'm posting in wrong place but I'm in dire need of some help. So the other day I was driving and suddenly my car starts losing power and shut off 5 min after . I pull off pop the hood and my motor mount bracket broke off. So I extracted the broken bolts and put a new bracket and mount but now car cranks but won't start, can somebody tell Me my next step I'm new to doing this stuff myself. I have a 92 civic with d16y7
I'll never understand why people halfass their cars...
If your CEL is on, there is a problem. Pull ALL codes and post them. This is a requirement in the rules.

I bought the car like that and as I've stated I don't really know how to work with cars besides changing axles brakes and slave and master cylinders. Basic stuff. Sorry for the inconvenience I have showed upon you

And I believe the cel is a o2 sensor but as I've stated this is an ek motor in a eg hatch. I assume previous person didn't care about it since it ran and I was in desperate need of a car
I'm going to say this one more time.

Now please, stop making excuses, and go pull ALL of the codes. If you aren't 100% sure about the blinks, then make a video of them, upload it to Youtube, and post it here.

And while we're at it, a CEL should never be ignored. If the light is on, figure out why and fix it. If you don't fix the problem, and a new one pops up (as has happened to you), the CEL doesn't get brighter or anything, it's just there.

That's not how forums work. The entire purpose of forums is a free sharing of information. Doing things in PMs stops others from benefiting in the future, and also stops the checks and balances of hundreds of people reading, and with the amount of **** poor advice that gets thrown around here sometimes, we need those checks and balances.
Keep the tech out of PMs. And OP still hasn't pulled CELs, 4 months later.

Well like I said 4 months ago, this ecu and harness is for a z6 not a y7, I have learned a lot of things in the past 4 months but wires confuse me there's like 3 wires just hanging and have no idea what there for. If I need to get a new harness to get to be able to read codes what harness do I get? Or what ecu would I need?
Literally none of what you just said matters when it comes to pulling codes. I've already posted the links you need to read. I'm not posting them again.
Sorry about not understanding last time, I feel real stupid haha, but I pulled codes 21,22,& 41 but I don't have vtec so I don't understand codes 21,22
The one connected to the header? And that's how I bought the car but I'll switch them out and source one if it'd that big of a problem. It's a p08 right? Would that even be the problem to why my car is not starting?
It may or may not be related, but given the clusterfuck of parts you have going on, getting the correct ECU would be a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, there is no stock ECU made for your combination. You need to get a socketted ECU, and a basemap for your motor. Xenocron is a good company to get both of those things from. The reason I'm saying get the correct ECU is because the OBD1 ECU that you're using, and the OBD2 motor that you have, do not share important things like timing, and injector size.
Second, your motor only needs a few things to run. Just to be sure, it's trying to crank, but isn't actually starting, right? Do a compression test and post the actual numbers for all four cylinders. While you're doing that, buy/borrow/rent an HEI spark tester, use it, and tell us what color your spark is at all four plugs.
