Default What half shalt and axles should I use?

I Owen a 1991 civic hatch, I am building a swap at the moment for it. I found a 1991 "jdm" L3 tranny to go with the d16y7 block, and it bolts right into the chassy. Now I have read various options for half shaft and axles . I have heard that the 90-93 integra axles fit perfectly , with the 1991 Civic half shaft. Are there any more combos out there I could use to make my swap easier. I guess I should let you know it's a built D16 turbo swap. Thank you

Is it a dohc or sohc transmission? If dohc you need the specific half shaft, if sohc stock axles.

The ad on eBay says 1.6L 5speed 1991 si.. Not quite positive you know. If I were to guess he is probably talking about the SOHC not the Zc dohc version.

Only the DOHC version requires the half shaft.

Why ebay for the transmission? There are plenty to be found in salvage yards. I personally have 2 in my garage now, both work and have the cars they came out of. They have B16 swaps in them.

eBay because I have been looking around at salvage yards and all and I haven't gotten lucky at all. I have been searching around , nothing solid yet. This is my first time doing any type of swap on my own specially with SOHC.

Depending on your budget/skill it could be worthwhile to pick up a good DX transmission if you find one locally as the gearing is identical to an Si. Afterwards you can swap to an after market final drive set.

Alternatively since this will be a boosted application a DX transmission may also be worthwhile as is.
