Help Please!!! 96 accord H series swap
I currently have a 96 Accord Lx h23a vtec blue top swap.
ECU using is OBD2B PCB.
The car currently runs, but when driving the Check engine light comes on EGR code.
What I was thinking of doing is going to OBD1 chipped. If I go that route would I have to convert parts to OBD1 or could I get a jumper harness from OBD2 to OBD1.
Haven't had time to diagnose the problem due to working so that's why I am posting. If anyone has been down this road please help. Thanks in advance

Well first thing that I would recommend, is trying to locate someone who can bypass or disable that. Over here in Cali (SD) we have a guy whos a genius with all that. If you dont, then you would have to go obd1 -- engine harness -- P28 chipped ecu, dont know about the H23 IM -- but in my F20B swap I did,it was a three wire IM-- so I had to get an H22 IM, 2 wire plus the IACV. never tried that obd2 to obd1 adapter route though good luck brother.

If you go OBD1, and everything else in the harness is wired-up correctly, you should just need the jumper harness for the ECU, should being the operative word. OTOH, I would try and fix the EGR problem as it's not in effect at WOT so it's not really robbing you of performance, and seafoaming your intake system twice a year takes care of the deposit build up the EGr causes on these engines.
