Ok guys I need help on this. Here is my question, and please feel free to school me on anything I say wrong . What type of cable transmission will bolt up to a D16y7 block. I already have some knowledge on what to use BUT I am having a hard time finding the right parts. Anyways here is my setup that I will run on my project EF.
-1991 civic hatchback EF
- 92-95 D16z6 head
- 96-00 D16y7 block
I want to run the cable setup on this project, so going hydro is out of the question. Please do help me in anyway possible.

The transmission that came with your car will bolt up

 

Any D series EF trans will work. I would search for a Si transmission.

Also keep in mind whichever transmission you get the clutch has to match the spline count. It is different then later Hydro transmissions.

 

I have been looking for an SI transmission but if I can't get a hold of one I will just go back to a stock EF tranny

 

See my post in your other thread. Also recommend asking a mod to merge the two treads since they are related and cover basically the same info.
