96 civic with b18a/b swap - EGR block off vs EGR delete
i've seen some threads on how to do the block off but does anyone do an EGR delete very often? and if not why not? 96 civic with b18a/b swap
Isn't "block off" and "delete" the same thing ??? Remember that if your ECU doesn't have an EGR circuit in it, it will not function just because the lift sensor and/or solenoid is attached to the intake manifold. You can remove them and use a "block off" plate to close the exhaust gas passageway from the head to the intake manifold.
what is a p75 obd2 manifold from? i'm not that familiar with codes, i got the engine like this and dropped it in... This is my first time figuring this sort of stuff out. it is a B18a block and intake manifold as far as i can tell. It does have an EGR right? Also what can you use to block off any excess ports?

yep i know the EK chasis has an egr but my engine is not a D series its an LS swap. I never pulled the engine myself so it is hard to confirm that when i don't have an integra sitting in front of me for comparison
After reading this post, you just confirmed with me you don't know what an egr looks like. You can't even look at the engine in your civic to verify this. The engine is mounted no different when in an integra.
