Steering wheel two torx screws won keep stripping
There are two torx screws I cannot remove from any 96-00 Civic steering wheel from junkyard. I've bought two sets of torx bits one set from Home Depot and another set from Autzone. Was using the T30 bit if I remember, whatever size was the biggest i could get in the head. First I had the bits on a thick rubber screwdriver. Pressing down full force on the head and turning CCW would not move and stripped eventually after many tries. Then brought my reversible electric driver and loaded the T30 bit. The same result I would not back the screw out and finally stripped head after head. I use torx bits all the time for removing torx screws. The usual thing about these screws is that the heads are prone to stripping because their heads dont have deep rigid holes but instead shallow holes that arent rigid but instead smooth edges inside.
How about using the proper sized torx bit socket, a proper length extension that fits the socket, and a long ratchet that fits the extension... this way you can slowly, in a controlled manner, apply the necessary pressure toward the torx fastener AND the counter-clockwise twist of the ratchet.

^ No, they're just regular Torx. And I have definitely been in OP's boat (province that salts its roads... = rusty everywhere). Never like 10 in a row, though. OP should ensure he is using the correct Torx driver, as well as pack these in his tool kit: Mastercraft Maximum Impact Bolt Remover Set, 13-pc | Canadian Tire
