New to the site, with old questions, im sure, needing answers. Curious, I have a 2004 Civic EX sedan 1.7L, and want to do the rear drum to disc conversion. Considering using the 4x100 hub/bearings, rotors, pads, and calipers from a 2004 Acura EL 1.7. , is this compatible? Also, if I can use those parts, do i still need the EP3 knuckles, trailing and lower control arms, from say a 02-03 civic Si, along with brake lines. Also. Can i use the existing e brake cable that is on the sedan now, or will it have to be changed out as well? Any idea of the specific part for that application? Also, is there anyone that has done this, that has also switched to a (4) disc master cylinder and proportion valve? And if so, Is that also from 02-03 Civic Si also? Will these part numbers below work for both 2004 civic coupe and sedan? I have sedan, just need to know if these parts will work for my application.

The EP3 cables are approximately on inch shorter than the genuine Honda Cables for the sedans/Acura EL's. I am sure your aftermarket cables are made to fit several different models, so will not fit like the OEM Honda ones. Proper cables to get are 47510-S5A-J04 (right hand) and 47560-S5A-J04 (left hand), can purchase through any Canadian Honda or Acura dealership. Paid $55.91 Cdn each. Take your aftermarket ones back to wherever you bought them from, they are likely selling you aftermarket EP3 cables which are shorter.
