Default Metal to metal sound when turning left

This just started yesterday and I get a metal to metal sound when turning left or jerking the wheel fast to the left while driving. It doesnt happen when i am not moving. I get this sound only when turning the wheel to the left or u turning to left. I'm going to have the brakes check tomorrow but could worn brake pads cause this? I'm not stepping on the brakes when the sound comes up.

I uploaded a video of it (the clicking sound is from the camera not the car)

It may be a brake shield rubbing.

Also, you could check the right side front wheel bearing for failure if you notice this sound turning left.
