JDM 96' Spec JDM - Options & Accesories
1. Type R floor mats - standard or option?
2. A/C - Might be some debate here but I am pretty sure in was only UK & US cars that didn't come standard with A/C and all JDM cars did.
3. Window Tints - option or never an option?
Cheers,
Tom

When it came to JDM models:
Floor mats were standard I believe unless you got the race version which was basically the RS of type R's (no radio, no clock, no a/c, no power door locks, no power steering, no ABS )
A/c was an option in the u/s on 97&98 I believe. But standard on 2000&2001. On jdm, I am not completely sure;however, race models did not have a/c in japan.
Window tint was not an option on the USDM itr's, but jdm models had OEM bronze rear quarter glass tint (not sure if it was optional or standard, and not sure if the rear/front windshield was available in bronze.. as well as the door windows) ; in addition, UKDM or EDM (I forgot) had a rare optional OEM rear windshield decal that could be considered tint I guess.. it ran across the top 1/4-1/5 of the rear hatch windshield that said "INTEGRA TYPE R" or "TYPE R"

The ITR floor mats are " Honda Access" but they must have been standard or a very cheap option, they all seem to have them.
A friend of mine had a '96 spec (don't know the year) that had the factory AC delete like this. If you look in the catalogs it was definitely an option.
Type RX had tints, don't believe it was an option on any others.

According to the DC2 parts catalog for VIN 1100001 - 1200000 (the earliest set of DC2 chassis) the build options were:
- Manual Air Conditioning (no Type-R had this option)
- Power door locks*** (Type-R had this standard)
- Drivers seat Air Bag (no Type-R had this option)
- Front seat (passenger) Air Bag* (Type-R had this option)
- Auto Air Conditioner (no Type-R had this option)
- Sunroof (no Type-R had this option)
- ABS* (Type-R had this option)
- TCS (no Type-R had this option)
- Without Air Conditioning*** (Type-R had this standard)
- LSD*** (Type-R had this standard)
So it likes "front seat (passenger) air bag" and "ABS" were the only options.

Acura/Honda Integra Type R Registry is pretty awesome, '96 catalog here shows the AC delete in the interior shots.
I currently have a 96 from Japan,
Yes the mats say "Honda access"
It had the 1 rear window tinted (purple) when I got it.
My car has AC that was even upgraded to R134-A (I believe) before I bought it sometime.
Didn't have a third brake light (but has the electrical harness for easy install)
None of my windows look bronze, but it is thinner glass.
No ABS on my car, I believe it was standard at 98
No airbags at all (OEM Momo Honda wheel)
My "power lock" was only when the drivers door lock moved it made the passenger lock follow (so only had one lock motor)
