I have a new window regulator for my 2k accord v6 ex. The spring popped off so I'd love some feedback on how these three items go together.

I assume I'm installing the spring on the regulator such that I need to wind up the spring a little before mounting the motor to line up with the regulator gear. Assuming that's correct, should the tension increase as the window rolls up or when the window rolls down?
