Just moved to Charlotte, NC & was wondering if anyone is doing any Honda meets, swapping & trading car parts? Just trying to get a feel for the Honda love down in NC since moving from FL.

 

I just moved from orlando fl to charlotte also. It seems like this town doesnt like honda meets. What part of town you at

There are car meets in the area (Charlotte & Western NC), but they aren't usually Honda specific. I've noticed that they also usually take place in the summer or early fall. Cold and bad weather is kind of a big factor as to if there is much turn out for the local meets. I know there are regular ones in Hickory and in Valdese (both about an hour west of Charlotte), but they're really small and mostly locals with older, classic cars. If you ask around at some of the auto parts stores in your area, they'll probably be able to give you a better idea of what's going on near you. Hope that helps/helped!

 

There are plenty of meets to go to. Do you use Facebook? There are plenty of group pages on there that setup meets. For example CMC Charlotte Motorist Club, host meets every Sunday I believe at UNCC. But since the semester is coming to an end, the meet will be else where. I just started going to meets lately with my 98 Ek Hatch

 

There's usually "Cars & Clouds" meets. I don't think it's set at a certain spot every time.

 

yes there are plenty of meets in and around Charlotte,Hickory, Gastonia as previously stated search facebook pages nc/sc car parts, nc/sc offical meets page, etc and most of the meets are posted in the Charlotte motorists club page

 

Ha, I'm moving to Charlotte in February, I don't have a car anymore but was hoping to build one once we purchase our new home
