doing work on my 99 GS-R last night and i pulled the dizzy. I found that one if the tabs that fit into the camshaft is broken off and the other is just barly there. obvously i cant put this back in there like that. I do have a b16 dizzy still in the box that i pick up for a project that fell though but its obd1. Is there anyway to take parts off that one to make mine work? on a tight budget here.

 

Internally they're the same and have the same wires, but OBD1 uses 2 plugs and OBD2 uses 1.

 

Undo the 'ear" it's a snap ring and transfer it over, no need to open anything up just mark which way is correct. In the sense of the slightly shaped one mark it from the b16 one when you swap it to the obd2 one.
