Default So I have the ECU problem

I'm fixing to trade my old CB7 coupe shell for an h22a4. Now I have a 97 accord LX 5spd wagon that I want to put the h22a4 in. I picked up a h22a4 ECU and the Immobilizer unit off the steering column as well as the VIN from the vehicle in the salvage yard. Now my question is will I be able to use the ECU with the immobilizer and the engine in my wagon. I have read in other forums that most people are not able to. But then again nobody has had all of the parts and VIN. Sorry in advance if I sound like I'm rambling been in the salvage yard all day. I do thank everybody in advance for any help in this matter.

By the way my name is A.j. and I'm new to Honda-Tech.

Your 97 accord does not have an immobilizer ring around the ignition key, nor does is it wired to tie into an immobilizer control unit. The simple answer would be to have the immobilizer bypassed in this ECU: Honda / Acura ECU Immobilizer Removal Service|HA Motorsports

You can then simply use the original key for your Accord without having to do anything else with the immobilizer/ECU problem.
