Water leak
Hello, so I was vacuuming my 2003 accord EX V6 coupe in my driveway today and I had the car running with the A/C on while playing some music.
When I was done I moved my car to the street only to see a puddle on my driveway. I rubbed my hand in it to see what it was and it didn't feel or smell or look like the Honda coolant I use, but seemed more like plain water.
I went to look under the car (in the street) and I can see it dripping still. I stuck my hand under the drip and sure enough the water droplets were as clear as water. The drip seems to be coming from near the transmission but a little more towards the passenger side.
Any ideas?

Ok so after some research, it appears this is normal and just the effect of dehumidifying, like how a AC unit at home or a commercial one would work.
Hopefully this is all it is.
Hopefully this is all it is.
On a hot/humid day they will do that.
Be glad it is dripping.......the other thing that can happen is that drian tube get clogged and the water leaks into the pass floor.
For giggles, when was the last time you changed the cabin air filter? Just saying they do need to be changed and when I do this, I use my shop vac with a piece of rubber hose taped to the end to get the dirt/leaves and what not out of there..

Thank you for the info though, greatly appreciated.
If you are not sure when it has been changed last, I'd put it on the list. Has nothing to do with the water as that is normal.
I have OCD when it comes to this, and many other things
, so I'm in the "over kill" bucket as I change mine twice a year.....early fall and then just after spring. Early fall gets most of the leaves and summer stuff, late spring is after the major pollen attack we get where I live and the rest of the fall leaves.
Pine pollen here in the spring is something else. You can park the car at work in the am, in the afternoon/evening when you leave the pollen is so thick on the car that when you leave the parking lot and get to speed you can see a "cloud" blow off the car in your mirrors. The windshield is coverd but you don't dare try to use the washer to get it off as that will just turn it into a "paste" where the wipers don't get it.......and I have OCD about a clean windshield
Anyway the shop vac thing is again just me. I have a piece of 3/8 or 1/2 inch - can't remember and not walking outside to look
- tapped to the end. It allows me to get the hose in and to the back of the "evap box" and get all of the junk out of there. Just take your time and don't damage the "fins" on the evap/heater core.
