Going back to Stock..
So recently I decided to start taking off every Aftermarket Part on my R, and putting it back to OEM stock as much as possible.
This habit is taking over, and I find myself in junkyards or on Craigslist trying to get deals on OEM parts.
Anyone else doing this?? Lol

I'm the same way and ive even gone as far as trying to find all of the usdm parts over the jdm itr parts as replacements.
Trying to find a nice OEM leather wheel to replace my jdm non srs itr wheel
I've been scouring the junk yard mostly to grab missing OEM bolts, screws for the interior, screws/clips for the fenderwell plastics.

I de-modded my old ITR too. I did it because I was going to start DD-ing it and there wasn't a point in running staggered tires, tons of camber, etc. that I had done for track setup. I still left the GC/koni's on there, but raised it up, put stock wheels back on, and stock UCA's back on. I also installed a better radio and alpine speakers to make it better to drive around.
I kinda did the same to my S2000 as well. I installed a stock hardtop, removed the soft top, put the stock exhaust on, changed damper settings, and installed a bluetooth radio. I did it because, for the first time in my 8 or 9 year ownership of that car, I wanted more refinement and I wanted to drive it everywhere, everyday (spring thru fall only...no salt/snow use ever). I still track the car like a ****. But...now I drive it around like a normal car too. I do miss my exhaust though haha.
De-modding a car is fun for the same reason as modding it. You feel like your setup is stagnating, so you do something new to keep the car enjoyable.

wow , same here! I replaced all my aftermarkets parts purely for smog ... but now that i have everything back in and stock height. I'm liking the look alot, only aftermarket part i have on is the mugen gen 1 wing. Which accents the oe itr muffler tip. IMO
Truth buddy!!
I've been modding since 2000, and recently realized how good OEM parts really are!
Unless it's MUGEN or SPOON parts of course.
Sucks because I threw away great parts, cause I thought Aftermarket Parts were better.
