My b16 oil light was flickering so i changed the oil pump. I turned the car on after replacing it. It ran fine for about 15 min then it started idling rough and the oil light started flickering again. did any body else have the same issue and how do you get rid of this issue

 

is the oil pickup clogged? are you able to verify oil is getting to the head?
clogged oil filter? get an gauge and find your pressure, what is it at?

I once had a leak at the oil pressure sending switch above the oil filter on a D16z6. After replacing the sending switch with 2 different non OEM switches I got a flickering oil light. I replaced the switch with a OEM one and the light quit flickering. I think the diaphragms in those switches are critical.
