Default Changed fuel pump, now intermittent no start.

Hello, I'm new here. I recently acquired a 93 accord with just under 300k miles on it, and in good condition for that many miles. Nothing was wrong until one day out of nowhere the car turned over and wouldn't start. I narrowed it down to the fuel pump or the relay. I checked the relay for a click, it clicked when I put the key in on but couldn't hear the fuel pump. So I replaced the fuel pump, it started up fine after that and ran good for a couple days and all of a sudden it was back to turning over and not starting, and I couldn't hear the fuel pump when the key was in the on position. But now it's intermittent, I will hear the fuel pump go on, then start it up and it'll drive around fine but when I turn it off and try to start it again it will turn over but won't start and again won't hear the fuel pump. I put everything back together good when I replaced the pump, what else could be wrong here?

Also, when the fuel pump was not audible when the key was in on, we tested the connection to the pump (behind the back seat) and it had voltage.

With 300k it's likely it's the main relay that's failing. If you replaced the fuel pump and the same issue is still there, what does that tell you ?

Fuel pumps either work or don't. Once they stop working the first time that's usually the last time they work.

Going by sound for operation of the fuel pump is not a good diagnostic.
You need to verify there is a power issue first.
Next time you hear a click and no pump, pull out your voltmeter and verify that there is/isn't power going back to the fuel pump connector. Contacts in the main relay can wear out, you may hear the click but there may be no voltage.
