Default Skunk2 Pro2/3

Anyone running these on a built engine (B18C) standard bore? Trying to find a dyno plot but most are 84mm+ or B20's.

What compression and supporting mods? That is a BIG cam setup for a 1.8.

At the moment I have a B18C with Skunk2 Tuner 2's (slight head skim to raise compression) Skunk2 valve springs/retainers, TWM itb's, standalone ecu. Spoon 4-2-1 2.5" header making 220bhp at the fly.

I was thinking of Wiseco 12.5:1 pistons, ARP rod bolts, ported GSR head, better header and Skunk2 Pro 2's unless you can suggest otherwise? Didn't really want to sleeve the block if possible.

I assume you're running the GSR crank and not an 89mm crank?

I personally think pro 2's will be a little big, but still work ok if you get a better header to go with the ported head. I'm not a fan of ITB's on B series myself, and don't have any personal experience, but I think a S2 Ultra street intake manifold would go a long ways on this motor and kill those ITB's

Yes standard Type R crank. What sort of power do you think is possible on stock bore/stroke?

Depends on the dyno. But I would be surprised to see over 215 on a dynojet

Try pro2 they'll suit this build better. Pro 3(270 at .050) is a bit much for a 1.8 engine. A guy here slowsleeper used pro2 on a 82mm and made 240 or so.

LOL. Just because you have positive dome doesn't make it 13.3:1. I have positive dome and I'm around 12.5:1.

PR3 on an LS crank/rods will be low 12's unless the head/block has been machined a ton.

I don't think this setup ever existed...convenient it "let go"

Not to keep arguing but the main line had to have 15thou taken out and then I had the deck done when we were all finished the Pistons came out of the hole 2.5 thou. Using a compression calculator it came out to 13.3. But it doesn't mater now it done and know I'm switching to b20

Pro1 worth it over the Tuner2's for the extra money involved?

Just try pro 2 and degree em! Pro 1 will beat tuner 2 up to a certain point in the rpm range. But it generally depends on the setup. Pro series are a hard profile to beat without compromising.

Btw. Are you the dude on YouTube with the stock b18c block with itbs and skunk2 cams?
