Removing OEM stripes and graphics
Let's say I want to buy this car but don't like the graphics.
The graphic are OEM. Questions:
1. Is it easy to remove?
2. Is it a DIY job? Or do I need a paint/body shop Pro to do it? Please rank degree of difficulty for DIY. I can't imagine it to be as easy as peeling back a sticker? Or is it?
3. Let's say the car is 3-4 years old, there will be a mark or shadow from where the graphic was, correct? I can pay for a professional buff. Do you think the mark will be somewhat "permanent?"

There are tools that do the job pretty well. The Snap-On Crud Thug comes to mind. For what it costs to buy the tools I think I'd rather pay someone to do it for me... unless I see myself using that tool quite a bit in the future. The potential for a shadow is high but depends on where the car has lived, been garaged, washed waxed, and generally taken care of. There really is no definitive answer on that.
Are we talking Something on a Honda? I can't think of anything that has come from the factory with any graphics like that in like, well forever. Pinstripes and graphics and all that crap are always dealer installed to pad the window sticker.

Not for a Honda, but for a Dodge Challenger, just like that one. Same type of graphics. Can I find out without it? I'm sure there are, but most of them do have some type of graphics. Seems like the graphics are included in the "package" that I would want (like wheels, interior, etc.).
I'm not sure on the Challenger. I would think the dealer could answer that question for you though. The graphics are usually just some sort of vinyl.
I'm sure most of them (dealers) will tell me anything just to get me to buy the car first. 99% of them already can't tell me about the car (Challenger) I'm looking at.
