Long story short, was driving on the highway, my speedometer stopped working. Then the red battery symbol came on. Later that day, all my sensors stopped working (Fuel, RPM meter, radio, lights went dim) Finally my car just died. Red Battery light came on (Charging system)
Figured it was the alternator, had a lot of low voltage o2 sensor codes and whatnot.
Car now starts, still has charging symbol.
UPDATE
I feel like an idiot. The Negative Terminal on my battery wasn't tight of all things. Tightened it down, started her up, and my charge light was still on. I had blown the alternator fuse from not having my negative terminal connected when I first tried to start it. Diagnosed with the help of a mechanic at this point ugh. Replaced the fuse and all is good.

How about your engine grounds? Also, it seems more like a Multiplexer issue with the gauges malfunctioning.
Funny you mention that. Went back out there, my ground on the negative was loose. Tightened that up, car starts, but I still have that charging light on? Did I get a bad re-manufactured one...?
Time to get a multi-meter or bring it to the shop, ugh.

Have you had the battery checked out? May be why your alternator cramped out. Its happened to me.
I had the alt fixed, then the battery stopped working, replaced it and it still wouldn't charge. The battery took out the alt again. Turns out the battery was bad from the beginning. Had to replace alternator. Now it works great.
