Here's a dyno of the same engine i recently had tuned at churches that i posted but this was tuned by a diffrent tuner on a Mustang dyno. I had it Tuned first here since i heard lots of good th8ngs about the HT member/Tuner so i tried him since he was also local and seemed like a professional but i diddnt like the tune, The engine would shut off at a stop, it had bad part throttle tunning, i wassnt satisfied so i had it tuned at Churches and it runs and performs 100X better. Ill never go there again lets just say that and Dismiss dyno #'s or the stigma that there dyno reads high bla bla i could care less! it runs so good knock on wood and you can really tell the diffrence in there tuning. I have had so many setups i could post dyno sheets of that i had them tune both N.A and F.I, they really know what there doing imo and i was alwasy satisfied.

Nice but this should be added to the B20 stock block thread this is for stock vtec setups b16's, b17, b18c1, b18c5- 1.6l/1.7l/1.8l.. with a DOHC vtec head with a n.a. setup.

And post up your dyno sheets and build specs videos are pointless.

Dyno numbers are pointless as well as they don't and can't tell you how the engine delivers its power. Let me know if you want it deleted. Also the title of this thread Says stock block b series all motor so that's why I shared it.

Im not gonna sit here and explain what a dyno sheet is used for..

It says stock block vtec! meaning all the B series short blocks i stated in the thread that came stock with vtec originally.

And yes delete it here and add it to the thread link for the B20 builds i shared above if you want thats where you want to post it this will be strictly for stock B series short blocks that were from the DOHC vtec engines.

It says stock block vtec b series ,nothing about production engines but ok. Oh and I know what a dyno sheet is and it doesn't tell you how the car drives
I'll delete the post.

Bro I believe he is talking about from the factory b series vtec engines without adding a vtec head to the block.

Nice simple setup! I'm curious what it put down with those CTR cams with those over sized valves. Im sure a bigger TB port matched manifold 3'' cai and bigger injectors might yield some more HP.

Well I'm sorry you didn't understand the title no harm no foul.

Exactly, as long as the block is still stock and from a DOHC vtec engine, the head can be modified ect. its all about the bottom end being within stock specs so JDM ITR/CTR pistons in a GSR or USDM ITR block ect.. is fine cause there factory pistons as long as displacement isn't changed and its still a 1.6l, 1.7l, or 1.8l.

Ditto with that info. I'm real curious too. It pulls freaking hard and top end has more pottential, as I tuned I only tuned with the stock type r map and adjusted fuel all through the rpm range and vtec. I didn't touch the ignition timing cause I need to learn a little more on that.

But I'll definitely look into upgrading the throttle body and intake and fuel injectors

But I think with the ignition tune and fuel map touch up I can call this just stock gsr with bolt-ons if anybody in person asks lol

I'm really hoping so it's also on a p72 with s300. Mickey from profunction is going to rebuild the block then I'll let him work his magic again on the tune.

If its getting rebuilt look ino using JDM ITR pistons instead of p30 to get a slight raise in comp that will help net more HP. Should be around .6 more static compression. use a GSR head and it really jumps up.

I remember years back i built a B series that was pretty much the same engine setup that made 216 hp above but except it had USDM ITR pistons and a JDM ITR header with oem valves and made 197 HP so with just replacing the pistons and header and flat valves it made 19 more HP.

Heres a overlay of that setup that made 197hp over the new setup making 216hp.
