Trying to settle an arguement which car is faster STOCK vs. STOCK

STOCK everything on the mustang, gears, tires, everything stock

will the foxbody be faster than the ITR?

To my understanding the foxbodies came stock with 3.08 gears...full interior all options...

which car is faster?

Any proof would be appreciated as well

 

The fastest 5.0 I've seen with my own eyes ran a 14.6 ALL STOCK

the fastest ITR I've seen ran a 14.2 with a a cone filter


my opinion is, the driver will determine the outcome

ya, its a close call. both cars have their own differences as far as how to drive them on the track, etc. so the driver is what will determine a good time slip on this matchup. good race though.
