2004 K20a2 EP3 Swap Not turning over
hello, i recently dropped a k20a2 w/ civic si 5 speed transmission into a 2004 honda ep3. I used the a2 engine wiring harness and new ep3 charging harness (both positive and negative) cables.
I have electricity to both fuse boxes, and no blown fuses.
All of the lights come up on cluster.
I turn the key to the second position and ignition does not turn on: the starter or fuel pump.
I am using a kpro v.4 (immobilizer disabled)
All help appreciated!
Regards,
SiK_EP3

Do we have the engine harness ground bolted to the intake manifold as hondata reccomends? Also do we have the Tranny ground connect to the frame rail? Can we make sure that the Engine harness is connected to the dash harness? Not 1 of the 3 ecu plugs the c101 plug.
Immobilizer will not stop the car from cranking. You can also check to make sure the spade terminal is connected on the starter.

I have grounds on the valve cover bolts just like Hondata recommends. I have a ground on the transmission to the subframe but originally comes from the negative battery charging cable.
I will check the harness' as well. I am calling Hondata today due to not see the green key at all on cluster

The car starts!
"They cut the plug that runs pcm ignition and all that good stuff and they had cut wires to the fuel pump. Man, this thing was a mess I had to buy the plug that was missing and re wire what needed to be re wired." -- Fermin aka 'worm'
My friend Fermin, whose got a shop in San Diego, did all the diagnosis and rewiring. He also does swaps and tunes if you need it.
He also set up a base map for me as well.
