Default What part # for Honda Axles?

I've never had this issue before, but I think I decided to go with OEM axles and I can't figure out what part number I need to order on this 06 Accord V6 6speed. The dealer was confused as well.

Honda Automotive Parts

Looking there it looks like #4 that says Driveshaft assembly would be it all, but why would the CV joints cost more than the whole assembly? So is #4 just the actual shaft and you have to get the CV joints separately? I'm just confused by which part is the whole assembly? When I ordered axles for my 96 Accord a few weeks ago it was very clear what I needed. Any advice on this one?

Looking at other sites they list the part listed as 004 twice. One for a similar price to this and one for $500+ per side. This is what the dealer was showing as well. Is this the complete assembly? That seems ridiculous considering I got axles for my 96 last month at the dealer for $175 a piece.

The assembly being cheaper than the individual parts is nothing new. New axles would be #4 and #5.

If you really want to know why the joints cost more or if there is a mislisting of prices/parts you could just call majestic honda but as "lazong" said #'s 4 &5 are the axle assemblies and there isn't really any risk of that being wrong as thats what is listed so you ccan hold majestic to it. If for some reason the price for the joints and price for the axle assemblies did get switched, be glad, your paying less!

My fear is that with parts 4 & 5, I'd just be getting the shaft and not the whole assembly with the joints and all, but I sent an email to them and confirmed it's the whole assembly. Well, actually to another online Honda dealer that had them even cheaper than Majestic.
